I have more that 20 years of professional Director of Photography experience creating images for broadcast and corporate clients. Over the years I’ve learned the power of camera movement. From handheld, slider, dolly, gimbal, drone or Steadicam. Each adds their own visual aesthetic and communicates something different to your audience.
Lighting is more that just achieving an exposure, it plays a critical part in crafting your message. By using the tools of light and shadow to focus the eye and polish an image we can speak directly the the audience. I honed my skills as a technician over the years on various sets working with amazing crews. I love the challenge of lighting and have built an efficient lighting package for small to medium sized shoots.
I also enjoy being a collaborator on projects that I am not a DP on. I bring the same energy and drive to work as a camera operator or gaffer as I do as DP. When I get opportunities to work with another DP, my goal is to foster a partnership with them to help them deliver their vision. I have the experience and energy to be a positive addition to your crew.
